Judy Shen is a PhD student in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program at Harvard University.

Samira Asgari recently completed her doctoral studies at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Asgari is funded by a fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation to explore rare variants in exome sequencing data in our tuberculosis cohort.

Chikashi Terao went to Japan to accept a prestigious award from the Japan Vascular Disease Foundation. This award, The Okamoto Young Investigator Award, is being awarded to him for his work on the "Clarification of disease etiology and identification of a therapeutic target for Takayasu arteritis through genetic studies".
